Digital education is the mission of the Dortmund-based start-up. The company designs individual STEM experiences (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) for educational institutions, private individuals and companies. The portfolio includes workshops and further training for teachers and learners, but also services such as equipment maintenance.

What are the advantages of a start-up?
A start-up gives you the opportunity to pursue your own idea the way you see fit. You learn a lot about yourself and others. And you may also see how the original idea organically evolves so that you head in a different direction.

What were the main hurdles?
We fortunately haven’t encountered many major hurdles that would set us back. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected us, of course, as many of our workshops have been cancelled. But we were also able to use it as an opportunity to expand our online portfolio.

Do you have any tips for you fellow founders?
Don’t overthink it – just do it! For the most part, you’ll pick it up as you go along anyway. And look for people you trust and who support your idea.
