The VMRAY founders – graduates from Ruhr-Universität Bochum – have remained loyal to their alma mater after completing their degree: they set up their company on campus, in the Technology Center Ruhr. With more than 100 employees on their payroll, they develop solutions for the automated analysis and detection of malware such as computer viruses and worms, Trojans, spyware and kernel rootkits and bootkits.
