64. Patent Seminar: A Competitive Edge Through Patent Information

Patents contain a wealth of technical information. In the scientific community, patent information serves as a vital resource for research activities. At the same time, patent information is a key indicator of future market trends. Consequently, every company should leverage this information to gain or secure a competitive advantage.

This seminar provides an introduction to patent search strategies. Key patent information systems will be presented and demonstrated using practical examples, enabling participants to get off to a successful start in using patent information.

The 64th Patent Seminar will take place on:

Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to approx. 6:30 p.m. at TU Dortmund University, Mechanical Engineering I (Seminar Room E21/22), Leonhard-Euler-Straße 5, 44227 Dortmund.

The participation fee is € 35, which includes seminar materials and a certificate of attendance. Students and employees of TU Dortmund and Ruhr University Bochum are exempt from the fee.
