An introduction to ERC Starting and Consolidator Grants

The European Research Council (ERC) is one of the most prestigious funding agencies supporting exceptional individual researchers with groundbreaking project ideas in all fields of research.

The webinar is an introduction to the EU funding scheme ERC - Starting and Consolidator Grants. It will give an insight into the funding mechanism of the ERC and help with the decision, whether the ERC is a suitable third-party-funding agency for your research aims.

Dr. Susanne Liermann (NCP ERC) will give you an overview of the application and submission process of the ERC funding schemes:

• Starting Grants for researchers with 2 to 7 years of experience since completing their doctorate with up to 1.5 million euro over a maximum of 5 years
• Consolidator Grants for researchers with 7 to 12 years of experience since completing their doctorate with up to 2 million euro over a maximum of 5 years

Morever Prof. Dr. Caspar Schwiedrzik will share his experiences with his successful applications for both an ERC Starting and Consolidator Grant.
