Basics of Patent Law

Technical inventions are of great importance in the scientific community. Therefore, legal protection against unauthorized use by third parties in the form of a patent (national or international) is essential. This webinar provides an introductory overview of the requirements that a patentable invention must meet and briefly describes the basic structure of a patent specification. It also covers the fundamentals of the patent application process and patent protection.

The focus of the content will then shift to patents and the patenting process. The webinar will inform participants about these fundamental requirements for patentability and the limits of patent protection.
