At your own pace, you’ll learn the basics of patent law, copyright law, design law, trademark law, and trade secret law from the comfort of your own home! Flexible, location-independent, and practical. After successfully completing the online test, you’ll receive a downloadable certificate that demonstrates the skills you’ve acquired.

In our online presentation, we provide a concise overview of the structure, content, and objectives of the IP Driver's License. The IP Driver's License is relevant for students, staff, and university faculty.

The IP License was developed in cooperation with the Institute for Information, Telecommunications, and Media Law (ITM) at the University of Münster and is being implemented with funding from the State of North Rhine-Westphalia as part of the innovation2business.nrw consortium. The funding is provided by the State of North Rhine-Westphalia’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection, and Energy.
